The Lake Lanier Rowing Club offers the perfect environment for crews to train and prepare during 2023-2024 Winter Spring training for upcoming competitions on historic Lake Sidney Lanier in Gainesville, Georgia.  Home to all rowing events for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta and the American Collegiate Rowing Association's Championship Regatta.  Run productive sessions with over 12,000 meters of open water, providing a prime environment for both short and long distance training.

Multiple regattas are held at the venue or within 90 minutes helping you easily satisfy the NCAA competition requirement for all training trips, such as:

  • Mark Williams Ergatta -  hosted by LLRC at the Lake Lanier Olympic Venue.  Date to be announced.
  • Clemson Sprints Regatta - hosted by Clemson Rowing Club at Clemson University on Lake Hartwell, just 80 miles from the Lake Lanier Olympic Venue
